MARCHING FOR PEACE

Once again our nation is facing
A challenge, perhaps a war,
Again our military is marching
As they leave their country's shore.

Our troops are leaving friends
Their families must say good-bye,
And tears are stinging eyes
As through the clouds they fly.

Whether Army, Navy or Air Force
Coast Guard, Marines or National Guard,
Our thoughts are flying with them
And we're praying extra hard!

We pray for their safe return
As they defend us once again,
Knowing our hearts are saddened
As we salute these women and men.

They'll protect our mighty country
As they travel across the sea,
Defending our country's ethics
Preserving freedom for you and me.

We pray for our President, George W
Hard decisions he has to make,
He faces each new tomorrow
Knowing all that he has is at stake.

No one wants this responsibility
Not one of us wants to fight,
We all want to bask in our freedom
And to follow God's eternal light.

As it states in the Book of Isaiah
The government shall be with the Son,
The Prince of Peace rules from the throne
Justice forever be done.

The zeal of the Lord will perform this
And protect us as we proceed,
To keep the freedom we treasure
As once, He planted the seed.

So with our troops now marching
Through the sands in the Middle East,
Our Savior is right beside them
He'll serve them a wonderful feast!

He shed His blood for our sins
As now our soldiers prepare,
To challenge the tasks before them
Knowing our Savior will be with them there.

Victory will be their cry
As they face the dawning of day,
But the fear will be eased with comfort
As our Lord leads the way!

GRAND OLD FLAG

Gazing at the red, white and blue
Reminds me of freedom so valued and true,
Where here in the land of the bounty and free
We're allowed to be what we want to be.

May the wave of the flag remind us ever more
Of the battles fought on foreign shore,
Lives that were lost in those frightening hours
Dragging our flag to fling o'er the towers.

Marking a sign of peace for our home
Keeping that freedom wherever they roamed,
May we always remember and ever be true
To our grand old flag - the red, white and blue!

God bless the American, British, and Coalition Military troops, as well as the many oppressed civilians of Iraq.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

THE PRESIDENTIAL PRAYER TEAM

Before sharing this page with your friends or family, we ask that you bow your head for a moment of silent prayer...pray for our military troops, for our president, for all world leaders, that they will all look to God for guidance...if God is not with us, all is lost!
And while praying, we ask that you pray a very special prayer for the three astronauts stationed on the International Space Station. Commander Ken Bowersox, Flight Engineer Don Pettit, and Flight Engineer Nikolai Budarin have been in orbit for 100 days now and are scheduled to return home to their families in May...Let's all start praying now for the safe return of these brave men!! And I share this with you with MUCH PRIDE...one of the Commander's family members is in my Rainbow Joy WAVs group and today this web site, and the special email sent out to the Rainbow Joy WAVs group this morning with a special message by Pastor Phillip Biggs from High Point, N.C., was sent into outer space to the astronauts at the space station! Isn't God incredible?
