of thirty years (bur. Nono), having had issue:

Kabaka Chwa I Nabakka Wunyi Walusembe, Kabaka of Buganda,
youngest son of Kabaka Kato Kintu Kakulukuku, Kabaka of
Buganda, by his wife, Nambi Nantuttulu. Succeeded on the
death of his father. Establsihed his capital at Bigo
Hill. Abdicated and settled at Bala, Magonga county. m.
(first) Abakyala Naku, the Kaddulubaale (m.
second, Sebwana, Regent after the death of Kabaka Chwa),
daughter of Walusembe of the Ffumbe clan. m.
(second) Nakiwala, daughter of Semwanga, of the Donge
clan. He is said to have dissappeared at Davula, having
had issue, one son:

Prince (Omulangira) Kalemera. b. at
Bigo (s/o Nakiwala). Driven to Bunyoro on
the orders of his father. He d. during the
return journey from Bunyoro (bur. Kyasa,
Busiro), having had issue, an only son by Lady
Wannyana (d. during the reign of her son, bur.
Lusaka), the supposed chief wife of his uncle,
King Winyi of Bunyoro*, and daughter of Mugalula
Buyonga:

Kabaka Kimera Walusembe, Kabaka of
Buganda (s/o Lady Wannyana) - see

* According to
legend he was abandoned by his mother, the Queen of Winyi
of Bunyoro and dispatched into a river. He was rescued
and became a cowherd, before being recognised, taken to
Buganda and proclaimed as Kabaka. In actuality, however,
Kimera seems to have been of unknown origin and the
founder of an entirely new dynasty.
1374 - 1404
Kabaka Kimera Walusembe, Kabaka of Buganda. b. at
Kibulala, Bunyoro, only son of Prince Kalemera, by Lady
Wannyana, the supposed chief wife of his uncle, King
Winyi of Bunyoro. Chosen while still a child by the
chiefs and people of Buganda, who had grown tired of the
rule of Sebwana, the Regent and Prime Minister.
Established his capital at Masanafu Hill. m.
(first) Nabukalu, daughter of Ndugwa, of the Lugave clan.
m. (second) Nakku, daughter of Walusembe, of the
Ffumbe clan, sometime Katikiro. m. (third)
Namagembe, daughter of Kayira, of the Mbogo clan. He was k.
ca. 1404 (clubbed to death while hunting) by his grandson
(bur. Kanzine, Mulume County, and reburied at
Lunyo in 1869), having had issue, two sons:

cdr. of his father's forces. m. Natembo,

Kabaka Tembo Kiride, Kabaka of Buganda, only surviving
son of Prince Lumansi, by his wife, Natembo. Killed his
grandfather and seized the throne, ca. 1404. Established
his capital at Ntinda Hill. He went mad during the latter
years of his reign. m. Najemba, daughter of
Semwanga, of the Donge clan. He d. at Busiro (bur.
Katikamu), having had issue, two sons and a daughter:

Kabaka Sewanaku Kigala Mukabya Kasungubu, Kabaka

Prince (Omulangira) Lutimba (full-brother
of Kabaka Kigala). Rebelled against his brother
but was defeated by his nephews and fled. He d.

Kabaka Kiyimba Ntege, Kabaka of Buganda, son of Kabaka
Sewanaku Kigala Mukabya Kasungubu, Kabaka of Buganda, by
his wife, Nabukalu Nabuto. Succeeded on the abdication of
his father, ca. 1464. m. (first) Bamuggya,
daughter of Kisuule, of the Njjaza clan. m.
(second) Gwojanjaba, daughter of Gunju, of the Butiko

after his death. He went blind shortly after his
accession. reigned under the regency of his Prime

on the birth of her daughter, ca. 1555. Established his
