Succeeded on the death of his father. m. (first) Fuonuku, daughter of Toutaitokotaha, 1^st Tokemoana, by his first wife, Tahi, daughter of Tungimana'ia, 2^nd Tu'i Ha'ateiho. m. (second) Lupemeitaku'i (m. second, H.H. Maeli'uaki Fatu, 8^th Tu'i Konokupolo and 15^th Tu'i Ha'atakalaua), daughter of Tungimana'ia, 2^nd Tu'i Ha'ateiho, by his third wife, Takala. m. (third) a daughter of Talia'uli. He had issue, two sons and one daughter:

1) Tu'ihalafata'i, 9^th Tu'i Konokupolo (s/o Fuonuku) - see below.
2) Tongamana (s/o Lupemeitaku'i). m. (first) Princess Si'umafua'uta (b. ca. 1743; d. at Lapaha, Mu'a, and bur. Si'umafua'uta, near Maufanga), former wife of Latunipulu'i-teafua, 2^nd Tu'i Lakepa, and younger daughter of Fatafehi Tu'ipulatu II, 35^th Tu'i Tonga, by his third wife, Laumanakilupe Moheofo, daughter of Tupoutoa, of the Tu'i Konokupolo line. m. (third) 'Ana'u Kihesina, daughter of Ma'afu-'o-tu'itonga, 6^th Tu'i Konokupolo, by his third wife, Latutama, daughter of Fakatakatu'u, 1^st Tu'i Ha'ateiho. He had issue, two sons and two daughters:

(first) Tupouto'a, daughter of Finau-'Ulukalala-'i-Ma'ofanga, Tu'i Vava'u and 1^st Finau-'Ulukalala, by his fifth wife, 'Ulukilupetea, Tu'i Ha'apai, daughter of Ngalumo'etutulu. m. (second) Fatafehi Holeva, younger daughter of Talau'mokafoa, of the Tu'i Tonga line, by his second wife, 'Ulukilupetea, Tu'i Ha'apai, daughter of Ngalumo'etutulu. She had issue,a son:
  - i) Vaka'utapola (s/o Fatafehi Holeva). m. Latu'alaifotu'ika (m. second, 'Anaukihengalu, by whom she had further issue), younger daughter of Kahomovailahi, 3^rd Tuita, by his wife, Princess Fatafehi Latufuipeka, 5^th Tamaha, daughter of Princess Fatafehi Nanasipau'u, 8^th Tu'i Tonga Fefine. He had issue, a son:
    - (1) Naulivou (s/o Latu'alaifotu'ika). m. Fifita Holeva, eldest daughter of Liufau, Tu'i Ha'angana Ngata, by his first wife, Taufa Ho'amofaleono, daughter of Malu'otaufa, 4^th Ma'afu-'o- Tukui'aulahi, of Vaini. He had issue, a son:
      - (a) Uatemolepala. m. The Hon Mele Pusiaki Uatemolepala (m. second, Kuma, by whom she had further issue), daughter of The Hon Matekitonga, 4^th Finau-'Ulukalala, by his second wife, 'Ilaisa'ane Tupou'ahau, daughter of Palu Ma'eliu'aki Fatukimotulalo. He had issue, a son:
        
        (i) 'Uili Kalaniuvalu. He d. young.
- a) Lapulou. m. Finau-'Ulukalala-'i-Ma'ofanga, Tu'i Vava'u and 1^st Finau-'Ulukalala (d. 1810), son of Finau-'Ulukalala-'i-Ma'ofanga, Tu'i Vava'u and 1^st Finau-'Ulukalala, by his first wife, 'Ulukilupetea, Tu'i Ha'apai, daughter of Ngalumoetutulu, of Ha'apai. She had issue - see above.
- b) Ngingie. m. as his first wife, Tupou Monukunuku, son of Hilianifo, of the Tu'i Tonga line. She had issue - see Tonga (Tu'i Tonga).
1) H.H. Tupou Mohe'ofo, 12^th Tu'i Konokupolo (d/o Fuonuku) - see below.

17xx - 1777 H.H. Maeli'uaki Fatu, 15^th Tu'i Ha'atakalaua and 8^th Tu'i Konokupolo, second son of son of Ma'afu-'o-tu'itonga, 6^th Tu'i Kanokupolu, by his third wife, Latutama, daughter of Fakatakatu'u, 1^st Tu'i Ha'ateiho. m. (first) Lupemeitaku'i, former wife of Tupoulahi, 7^th Tu'i Konokupolo, and daughter of Tungimana'ia, 2^nd Tu'i Ha'ateiho, by his third wife, Takala. m. (second) Langilangiha'aluma. m. (third) Popua. He had issue, two sons and two daughters:

1) H.H. Mulikiha'amea, 16^th Tu'i Ha-a Takala'ua and 11^th Tu'i Konokupolo (s/o Lupemeitaku'i).
2) Tupou Neiafu.
1) Kongakava. m. as his second wife, H.H. Fatafehi Paulaho, 36^th Tu'i Tonga (d. 1784), third son of Fatafehi Tu'ipulatu II, 35^th Tu'i Tonga, by his second wife, Laumanakilupe, daughter of Tupouto'a, of the Tu'i Konokupolo family. She had issue - see Tonga (Tu'i Tonga).
2) Latutama (d/o Langilangiha'aluma). m. Ikamafana II, 5^th Ma'atu, of Niu'atuputapu (k. on 'Uvea). She had issue, one son and one daughter see Tonga (Ha-a Takala'ua).

1777 - 1782 H.H. Tu'ihalafata'i, 9^th Tu'i Konokupolo, eldest son of Tupoulahi, 7^th Tu'i Konokupolo, by his first wife, Fuonuku, daughter of Tokemo'ana. Abdicated in favour of his son and retired to Fiji in 1782 but returned to Tonga and joined Finau in 1799. m. 'Uheina, daughter of Fu'atakifohaha, 15^th Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua, by his first wife, Ungafa. He was k. in battle in the Fourth Battle of the Sea-flats, 29^th May 1799, having had issue, two sons and two daughters:

1) H.H. Tupou Lahisi', 10^th Tu'i Konokupolo - see below.
2) Tu'ifua Anaukihengalu. m. Latu'alaifotuika, former wife of Vaka'utapola, and younger daughter of Kahomovailahi, 3^rd Tuita, by his wife, Princess Fatafehi Latufuipeka, 5^th Tamaha, daughter of Princess Nanasipau'u, Tu'i Tonga Fefine, daughter of Fatafehi Tu'ipulatu II, 35^th Tu'i Tonga. 1) Tupou Falemi. m. as his third wife, H.H. Fatafehi Fuanunu'iava, 38^th Tu'i Tonga (b. ca. 1765; d. on Vava'u, 1810, bur. Langi Mataika, Vava'u), eldest son and fifth born child of H.H. Fatafehi Paulaho, 36^th Tu'i Tonga, by his first wife, Tupou Moheofo, 12^th Tu'i Konokupolo, eldest daughter of Tupoulahi, 7^th Tu'i Konokupolo - see Tonga (Tu'i Tonga).
2) Latuhakautapu. m. Tu'ifua, matapule, a younger son of H.H. Mumui'i Topou'ila Mapatongiamanu, 13^th Tu'i Konokupolo - see below.

1782 - 1789 H.H. Tupou Lahisi', 10^th Tu'i Konokupolo, elder son of H.H. Tu'ihalafata'i, 9^th Tu'i Konokupolo. Succeeded on the abdication of his father, 1782. m. Princess Fatafehi Latufuipeka, 5^th Tamaha, daughter of Latunipulu'i-teafua, 2^nd Tu'i Lakepa, by his first wife, Princess Fatafehi Nanasipau'u, 8^th Tu'i Tonga Fefine, eldest daughter of Fatafehi Tu'ipulatu II, 35^th Tu'i Tonga. He d. ca. 1789, having had issue, three daughters:

1) Tupou 'Ahome'e. m. H.H. Tupouto'a, 17^th Tu'i Konokupolo (d. 1820), eldest son of Talai Tupou, 14^th Tu'i Konokupolo. She had issue, an only daughter - see below.
2) Tupoutupu-'o-Pulatu. m. as his first wife, Finau-'Ulukalala-'i-Pouno-Tuapasi'i Sefaria, Tu'i Vava'u and 3^rd Finau-'Ulukalala (d. at Vav'au, March 1833), younger son of Finau-'Ulukalala-'i-Feletoa, 3^rd Tu'i Vava'u and 2^nd Finau-'Ulukalala, by his first wife. She had issue, two daughters - see above.
3) Tupou-kolotulu Fuatalevu. m. The Hon 'Uiliami 'Ulakai Tupou, PC (d. at Vav'au, 1839), son of H.H. Talai Tupou, 14^th Tu'i Konokupolo, by his second wife, Mata'ele, daughter of Tu'ihakavalu. She had issue, one son - see below.

1789 - 1793 H.H. Mulikiha'amea, 16^th Tu'i Ha-a Takala'ua and 11^th Tu'i Konokupolo, eldest son of H.H. Maeli'uaki Fatu, 15^th Tu'i Ha'atakalaua and 8^th Tu'i Konokupolo, by his first wife, Lupemeitaku'i, daughter of Tungimana'ia, 2^nd Tu'i Ha'ateiho. Succeeded on the death of his father, 1777. Elected as 11^th Tu'i Konokupolo, after the death of Tupou Lahisi', ca. 1789. Abdicated that title in 1793. Attempted to resume the position of Tu'i Konokupolo in opposition to Tupou Malohi, April 1799. m. (first) Toa'ila.m. (second) Teuteufaiva. m. (third) Ikatonga, daughter of the Moholamua'amotu. m. (fourth) Mapatuta'i, eldest daughter of Fu'atakifohaha, 15^th Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua, by his first wife, Ungafa. m. (fifth) Fataimoemanu. m. (sixth) Tupou'ahau, daughter of Fu'atakifohaha, 15^th Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua, by his first wife, Ungafa. He was k. at the Battle of Te'ekiu, 10^th May 1799 (bur. Langi Loamanu, Mua), having had issue, four sons and three daughters - see Tonga (Ha-a Takala'ua).

1793 H.H. Tupou Mohe'ofo, 12^th Tu'i Konokupolo. b. 1745, daughter of Tupoulahi, 7^th Tu'i Konokupolo, by his first wife, Fuonuku, daughter of Tokemo'ana. Seized the throne on the abdication of her cousin, 1793. Forced to flee to Vava'u by Tuku'aho, 1793. m. as his principal wife, ca. 1765, H.H. Fatafehi Paulaho, 36^th Tu'i Tonga (b. ca. 1749; d. on Vav'au, 1784), third son of Fatafehi Tu'ipulatu II, 35^th Tu'i Tonga, by his third wife, Laumanakilupe Moheofo, daughter of Tupoutoa, of the Tu'i Konokupolo family. She d. on Vava'u, 1793, having had issue, one son and three daughters - see Tonga (Tu'i Tonga).

1793 - 1797 H.H. Mumui'i Topou'ila Mapatongiamanu, 13^th Tu'i Konokupolo. b. 1733, youngest son of Ma'afu-'o-tu'itonga, 6^th Tu'i Konokupolo, by his second wife, Pupua'uli'uli Kavakipopua, daughter of Paleisasa. Raised to the throne by his after, after the deposition and expulsion of Tupou Mohe'ofo, 1793. m. (first) Tu'imala, daughter of Kole'akikava, by his wife, a daughter of the Chief Priest Vave. m. (second) Lepolo (d. after 1797), daughter of Ha'a Ngata Motu'a Ata. m. (third) Tule. m. (fourth) Pe'e. m. (fifth) Kaufusi Fo'ou, daughter of Fifita Tu'ipulotu, daughter of Fielakepa. m. (sixth) Atuhakautapu, daughter of Ngata,Vuna, by his wife, Out'anga. m. (seventh) Vailolomoli, daughter of Tatafu, 10^th Tu'i Ha-a Takalana. m. (eighth) Finau Muivai (m. second, Upolutele, Tuita, by whom she had further issue), daughter of Tu'ihalamaka Nofo Ha'amoa, by his wife, Fefine, daughter of Niukapu. He d. at Hihifo, Tongatapu, 29^th April 1797 (bur. at the Mala'e Bagai, Hihifo) (two of his widows being strangled at his burial), having had issue, thirty children, including:

1) Tongata-'o'-lakepa (s/o Tu'imala). He d. after 1799.
2) Finau Tuku'aho, who succeeded as H.H. Talai Tupou, 14^th Tu'i Konokupolo (s/o Lepolo) - see below.
4) H.H. Tupou Malohi, 16^th Tu'i Konokupolo (s/o Pe'e) - see below.
5) Tu'ipulatu (s/o Atuhakautapu). matapule. He had issue, an only daughter:
- a) Mafihape. m. Vuki, son of Kahomovailahi, 3^rd Tuita, by his wife, Latufu'ipeka. She had issue, one son and one daughter - see below.
6) Tu'ifua. A matapule. m. Latuhakautapu, younger daughter of H.H. Tu'ihalafata'i, 9^th Tu'i Konokupolo.
7) Namoa. He had issue, a daughter:
- a) 'Alilia Funakitoutai. m. Avala'aetau Naufahu, son of Finau Fisi. She had issue, two sons and two daughters - see above.
8) Ngaluha'amea (c/o Finau Muivai).
9) Talanoa (c/o Finau Muivai).
1) Hala'evalu Moheofo (d/o Tu'imala). m. Fifitapuku, 2^nd Tu'i Ha'angana, son of Fuapau Hikule'o, 1^st Tu'i Ha'angana, by his wife, 'Ungatea, daughter of Tau'atevalu, of 'Utulau. She had issue.
2) Finau. m. as his second wife, Haveatungua, 4^th Tu'i Ha'ateiho, only son of Mapa, 3^rd Tu'i Ha 'ateiho, by his second wife, Princess Mafi'uli'uli, youngest daughter of Fakana'ana'a, 34^th Tu'i Tonga. She had issue, one son - see Tonga (Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua).
3) Halaevalu Kovifononga Va'inga Pala'akahokaho (d/o Lepolo). m. (first) Havea Hikule'o, Helu, son of Puakahetau, by his wife, Langi'uli'uli, daughter of Pahulu. m. (second) … She d. after 1797, having had issue, a son and a daughter:
- a) 'Uhilame'olangi. b. before 1790 (s/o Helu). Adopted by Fangafua, wife of Talai Tupou.
- b) Kaunanga Seini (d/o Helu). m. Palu Ma'eliu'aki Fatukimotulalo, son of H.H. Mulikiha'amea, 11^th Tu'i Konokupolo and 16^th Tu'i Ha-a Takala'ua, by his third wife, Ikatonga, daughter of the Moholamua'amotu. She had issue - see above. Copyright© Christopher Buyers
- c) The Hon 'Asenahamanana Tu'iha'ateiho. m. as his fourth wife, The Hon Kelepi Fulilangi, 7^th Tu'i Ha'ateiho (d. 1885), third son of Vuna Fa'otusia Fakahiku-'o-'uiha, 6^th Tu'i Ha'ateiho, by his third wife, Fusipala Tauki'onetuku, younger daughter of Talai Tupou, 14^th Tu'i Konokupolo. She d. 1875, having had issue, two sons and five daughters - see Tonga (Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua).
4) Tupou Veiongo (d/o Tule). m. (first) as his principle wife, H.H. Fatafehi Fuanunu'iava, 38^th Tu'i Tonga (b. ca. 1765; d. on Vava'u, 1810, bur. Langi Mataika, Vava'u), eldest son and fifth born child of H.H. Fatafehi Paulaho, 36^th Tu'i Tonga, by his first wife, Tupou Moheofo, 12^th Tu'i Konokupolo, eldest daughter of Tupoulahi, 7^th Tu'i Konokupolo. m. (second) 'Uluvalu, 2^nd Tu'i Pelehake (m. second, Latuholeva), son of Lekaumoana, 1^st Tu'i Pelehake, by his wife, Toe'umu, daughter of Kafoa. m. (third) Finau Tupuni'ua (k. on Ha'apai, by Tupouto'a, 1807), sometime Governor of Vava'u, son of Finau-'Ulukalala-'i-Ma'ofanga, 1^st Finau-'Ulukalala, by his third wife, Fehi'a, daughter of Fuimaono, of Niuatoputapu. She left issue by all three husbands.
5) Malama (d/o Tu'imala). m. Tu'imoala.
6) Fulifua'atonga (d/o Tu'imala). m. Fifitapuku, 2^nd Tu'i Ha'angana, son of Fuapau Hikule'o, 1^st Tu'i Ha'angana, by his wife, 'Ungatea, daughter of Tau'atevalu, of 'Utulau. She had issue.
7) Ma'afu'otu'itonga (d/o Finau Muivai). m. Fataimoemanu Fotofili, son of Aloko'ulu, 2^nd Fotofili. m. Fifitaha'amotuku, daughter of Ma'u. She had issue, one son - see Tonga (Ha-a Takala'ua).
