1798 - 1818
Mehtar Shah Khairu'llah Khuswaqte, Mehtar of Chitral and
Yasin, son of Asmatu'llah, younger son of Mehtar Shah
Khushwaqt, Mehtar of Yasin and Mastuj. Attacked and
defeated Mukhtaram Shah II and his brothers, who fled
from Chitral, leaving it under the control of Shah
Khairu'llah, ca. 1798. m. at Drosh, after 1762,
the widow of Shah Afzal, Mehtar of Chitral. He was k.
before 1818, having had issue, including one son and two
daughters:
1) Mir
Darab Shah Khuswaqte.
1) A
daughter. m. Mehtarjao Sher Jang (k.
before 1818.), sometime Governor of Beni and Ain,
son of Mehtar Shah Fazil, Mehtar of Chitral - see
above.
2) A
daughter. m. Khan Bahadur, sometime
Governor of Mastuj and Chitral.
1818 - 1833
Mehtar Shah Nawaz Khan, Mehtar of Chitral, eldest son of
Mehtar Shah Afzal I, Mehtar of Chitral, educ.
privately. Fled to Afghanistan with his brothers after
Shah Khairu'llah's second and successful invasion ca.
1798. Returned and seized control of Chitral in 1818.
Deposed by his brother, 1833. He had issue, three sons:

Muhammad Mukhtaram Shah II [Shah Katur II], Mehtar of
Chitral, second son of Shah Afzal I, Mehtar of Chitral.
Fled to Afghanistan with his brothers after Shah
Khairu'llah's second and successful invasion ca. 1798.
Returned with his brothers and seized control of Mastuj
1818. Governor of Mastuj 1818-1833. Succeeded as Mehtar
of Chitral following the deposition of his brother, 1833.
m. before 1818, a daughter of Badshah Khan
Khuswaqte, Governor of Punial and Mastuj. He d.
1837 (bur. at the Mitarqabristan, Chitral), having
had issue, eight sons and daughters:

Shah, having had issue, one son:

Muhammad Afzal II, Mehtar of Chitral, fifth son of Shah
Muhammad Mukhtaram Shah II [Shah Katur II], Mehtar of
Chitral. m.(first) a lady from the Raza
Khel tribe. m. (second) a daughter of Mehtar Malik
Aman Khuswaqte, Mehtar of Yasin and Mastuj. He d.
1853 (bur. at the Mitarqabristan, Chitral), having
had issue, five sons and two daughters:

Muhammad Mukhtaram Shah III [Adam Khor], Mehtar
of Chitral - see below.

Muhammad Aman ul-Mulk II, Mehtar of Chitral and
Yasin, Master of Ghizr, Ishkoman and Suzerain of

Mehtarjao Mir Afzal. He was k. by his
brother, Aman ul-Mulk.

Mehtar of Yasin (d. 1860), second son of
Mehtar Malik Aman Shah I, Mehtar of Yasin. She
had issue.

Khan, Khan of Dir (d. 1884). She had issue
- see Pakistan (Dir).
1853 - 1858 Shah
Muhammad Mukhtaram Shah III [Adam Khor], Mehtar of
Chitral, eldest son of Shah Muhammad Afzal II, Mehtar of
Chitral, third son of Shah Katur, Mehtar of Chitral.
Succeeded on the death of his father, 1857. Entered into
treaty relations with the King of Afghanistan. Deposed by
the notables for his alleged tyranny, 1854. Governor of
Drosh 1854-1857. Took possession of Yasin and Mastuj and
expelled Gohar Aman Shah in 1855, but was expelled from
there in 1856. He ruled the Lot-Kuh valley for a few
years before his death. He was k. by Said 'Ali
Khan, 1858 (bur. at the Mitarqabristan, Chitral).
