Proclaimed on the death of his uncle, 11^th October 1823 (recognised by the Governor-General of the NEI, 30^th December 1823). Reigned under the regency of Sultan Said ul-Biladi. Installed at Fort Orange, 27^th May 1824. Rcvd: Knt. 3^rd class of the Order of the Netherlands Lion (5.11.1858). m. (first) Bai, a lady from Tidore. m. (second) 1823, H.H. Paduka Sri Maha Tuan as-Sultan Taj ul-Mahs ul-Binayatu'llalali Hannan Siraj ul-Mulk Amir ud-din Iskandar IV Munawar us-Sadiq Wahuwa mina al-'Adalin Shah, Sultan of Ternate (b. March 1839; d. January 1900), elder son of H.H. 5) Kyai Chili Putra Muhammad [Prince van der Capellan]. b. at Ternate, 1825. m. May 1844, Fatima. He had issue, a son:
- a) Kyai Chili 'Abdu'l Malik [Amal]. Susupu of Halmahera. m. a daughter of Kyai Muhammad Arif al-Yogya. He had issue, a daughter:
  - i) H.H. Jou Ma Boki Mihir. m. H.H. Paduka Sri Maha Tuan as-Sultan Taj ul-Mahsil Binayatu'llah al-Hannan Siraj ul-Mulk Amir ud-din Iskandar V Munawar as-Saddik Wahuwa min al-'Adilin Shah, Sultan of Ternate (d. at Ternate, January 1941), fourth son of H.H. 5) Kyai Chili Putra 'Abu Bakar. He had issue:
- a) Kyai Chili Hasan ud-din. m. Boki Hafifa, daughter of his uncle, Kyai Chili Putra 'Alim ud-din.

[1900] - 1902 H.H. Paduka Sri Maha Tuan as-Sultan Ilham [Kolano Ara Rimoi], Sultan of Ternate, third son of H.H. Paduka Sri Maha Tuan as-Sultan Taj ul-Mahs ul-Binayatu'llalali Hannan Siraj ul-Mulk Amir ud-din Iskandar IV Munawar us-Sadiq Wahuwa mina al-'Adalin Shah, Sultan of Ternate. Succeeded on the death of his father, July 1900. Installed at Fort Orange, 20^th January 1902. He d. at Ternate, within a month of his installation, 20^th February 1902, having had issue, one daughter:

1) Boki Zubaida. m. her first cousin, Kyai Chili Muhammad, eldest son of H.H. 1902 - 1915 H.H. Paduka Sri Maha Tuan as-Sultan Taj ul-Mahsil Binayatu'llah al-Hannan Siraj ul-Mulk Amir ud-din Iskandar V Munawar as-Saddik Wahuwa min al-'Adilin Shah, Sultan of Ternate. b. at Ternate, as Kyai Chili Putra Muda Muhammad Usman, fourth son of H.H. Paduka Sri Maha Tuan as-Sultan Taj ul-Mahs ul-Binayatu'llalali Hannan Siraj ul-Mulk Amir ud-din Iskandar IV Munawar us-Sadiq Wahuwa mina al-'Adalin Shah, Sultan of Ternate. Succeeded on the death of his elder brother, 20^th February 1902. Installed at Ternate, 11^th July 1902. Arrested and exiled to Bacan, for his alleged complicity in the murder of the Dutch Resident Controller Agerbeek, 7^th July 1915. Deposed and exiled to Bandung, 23^rd September 1915. Permitted to return to Ternate as a private citizen in 1932. Rcvd: Officer of the Order of Orange-Nassau. m. (first) … m. (second) H.H. Paduka Sri Maha Tuan as-Sultan Taj ul-Mahsil Binayatu'llah al-Hannan Siraj ul-Mulk Amir ud-din Iskandar V Munawar as-Saddik Wahuwa min al-'Adilin Shah, Sultan of Ternate, by his second wife, H.H. Jou ma-Boki Mihir, educ. Malay Sch., Bandung; Europese Lagere Sch., Ternate; Europese Lagere Sch., Christelyke Meer Uitgebreid Lager Onderwijs, and Hogere Burger Sch., Batavia. Exiled to Bandung with his father 1915. Mbr. Partai Sarekat Islam 1920-1925, komis at central office of SS in Bandung, ambtenaar ter beschikking in Bima 1925, later in Sumbawa Besar. Restored in his father's stead, 2^nd September 1929. Installed at Ternate, 21^st February 1930. Evacuated to Australia by Allied forces, together with his wife and family, 8^th October 1945. Cmsnd. as Lieut-Col. KNIL 1944, and served during WW2 1944-1946, Mbr. Cncl. of the Provisional Govt. of the NEI 1944-1947, Senator for the North Moluccas State the East Indonesia 1948-1950, Minister for Internal Affairs 1949-1950. Served in the Ministry of the Interior at Jakarta during Sukarno's presidency. Attended the Solemn Investiture of Queen Juliana of the Netherlands at the Nieuwe Kerk, Amsterdam, 1948. Rcvd: Queen Juliana Solemn Investiture medal (6.9.1948). m. (first) at Ternate, Hamida, a lady from Soa Sio. m. (second) at Bacan, 13^th May 1930, H.H. Jou ma-Boki Mariam (b. at Bacan, 17^th December 1914; d. ca. January 2001), rcvd: Queen Juliana Solemn Investiture medal (6.9.1948), daughter of H.H. as-Sultan ibnu us-Sultan Almafudl Bifadlillahil Malik ul-Wahab Siraj ul-Mulki Amir ud-din Wahua Putra Muhammad 'Usman Shah, Sultan of Bacan. He d. at Jakarta, Java, 4^th July 1975 (bur. there, transferred to Ternate Royal Cemetery, behind the Masjid Raya Sultan), having had issue, five sons and three daughters:

1) Kyai Chili Putra Awal ud-din. b. at Ternate, 2^nd February 1931 (s/o a Hamida). Passed-over for the succession. He d. from leukaemia, ca. 1967.
2) Kyai Chili Putra Sharif ud-din [Sjarifuddin]. b. at Ternate, 1^st August 1933 (s/o Hamida), educ. Technical Univ., Delft, Netherlands. Mining Engineer, retired from Mining State Owned Company (Aneka Tambang) 1988. Passed-over for the succession. m. Haryani, daughter of Karyosoewondo, a Javanese gentleman.
3) Kyai Chili Putra Muzaffar Shah [Dr Mudaffar Syah], who succeeded as H.H. Paduka Sri Maha Tuan as-Sultan Haji Muzaffar Shah II ibni al-Marhum Sultan Iskandar Muhammad Jabir Shah, Sultan of Ternate (s/o Boki Mariam) - see below.
4) Kyai Chili Putra 'Abdu'l Hamid. b. at Ternate, 1^st August 1933 (s/o Boki Mariam). m. a lady from Bacan. He d. ca. 1990.
5) Kyai Chili Putra Affandi Jabir Shah. b. at Ternate, 15^th July 1936 (s/o Hamida). Kapita Laut. m. a princess from Bacan.
1) Boki Putri Sharinsad [Rini Waworuntu]. b. at Ternate, 28^th January 1931 (d/o Boki Mariam). m. John Waworuntu (d. October 2002), a Manadonese gentleman.
2) Boki Putri Rawang. b. at Ternate, 5^th February 1935 (d/o Hamida).
3) Boki Putri Fatima [Femmy Dyurachman]. b. at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, 2^nd June 1945. m. 'Abdu'l Rahman [Dyurachman]. She d. at Ternate, ca. 2002.

Paduka Sri Maha Tuan as-Sultan Haji Muzaffar Shah II [Dr Mudaffar Syah], Sultan of Ternate. b. at Ternate, 13^th April 1935, as Kyai Chili Putra Muzaffar Shah, third son of Lieutenant-Colonel H.H. Paduka Sri Maha Tuan as-Sultan Iskandar Muhammad Jabir Shah ibni al-Marhum Sultan Amir ud-din Iskandar V Munawar as-Saddik Wahuwa min al-'Adilin Shah, Sultan of Ternate, by his second wife, H.H. Jou Ma Boki Mariam, educ. SR, Ternate; SMP, M akasar; SMA, Jakarta; Univ. Swasta Chairun, Ternate, and Faculty of Letters, Univ. of Indonesia (Ph.D. 1984). Succeeded on the death of his father as Head of the Royal House of Ternate, 4^th July 1975. Installed at Ternate with the title of Paduka Sri Maha Tuan as-Sultan Haji Muzaffar Shah II, 29^th November 1986. MHR Maluku Utara 1971-1977, and Maluku 1978-1988, sometime Presdt. of the provincial assembly of Malukku Utara. m. (first) Elisabeth Petronella [Nelly], née Manoppo, a lady from Menado, a distant relative of the Rajas of Bolang-Mongondo. m. (second) Thalha binti Mahri, a lady of Arab descent. m. (third) Drevenlya, née Amahorsea. m. (fourth) H.H. Jou ma-Boki Dr Nita Budhi Susanti* (b. at Semarang, Java, 7^th July 1968), educ. SD Kanisius, SMPN 1, and SMAN I, Kendal, and Univ. Diponegoro, Semarang, a journalist in Semarang 1990, raised to the title of Jou ma-Boki 19^th December 2001, and later prom. to Boki Ratu, a descendant of the Royal House of Surakarta, in Java. He has issue, seven sons and six daughters:
