• 1) Maha Prabha [Chatayam Nal] Tampuratti, of Mavelikkara. She had issue, five daughters:
  • a) Princess Pooyam Tirunal. Adopted into the Royal House of Travancore in 1747. She d.s.p.
  • b) Rani Uthradam Tirunal, Senior Rani of Attingal. Adopted into the Royal House of Travancore in 1747. m. at Attingal, 1748, a Kochi Koil Tampuran, of Tattara Kovil. She had issue, two sons:
    • i) Prince Rama Varma [Aswathi Tirunal]. b. at the Shri Padam Palace, Trivandrum Fort, ca. 1756, educ. privately. Invested as Heir Apparent with the title of Eliya Raja, 1786. He d. 1788.
    • ii) Prince Bala Rama Varma [Amizham Tirunal]. b. at the Shri Padam Palace, Trivandrum Fort, ca. 1757.
  • c) The Junior Rani of Attingal (name unknown). Adopted into the Royal House of Travancore in 1747. m. a Kochi Koil Tampuran of Edathara Matam She had issue, one son and two daughters:
    • i) Prince Bala Rama Varma [Magam Tirunal]. b. at the Shri Padam Palace, Trivandrum Fort, ca. 1757. He d. young.
    • i) Rani Bharani Tirunal. b. at the Shri Padam Palace, Trivandrum Fort, ca. 1758.
    • ii) Rani Attham [Chadayam Tirunal]. b. at the Shri Padam Palace, Trivandrum Fort, ca. 1759. She had issue, one son and three daughters (adopted?):

Adopted from another branch of the Kolathunadu family in 1788? Succeeded her elder sister as Regent for her nephew, 18^th August 1815. Relinquished the regency when he came of age, 1829. m. (first) 1812, M.R.Ry. Raghava Varma Avargal, Koil Tampuran of Kilimanur. m. (second) 1820, another prince from the Kilimanoor Royal House (d. 1824). m. (third) ... Sri Patmanabha Sevini Vanchipala Dharma Vardhini Raja Rajeshwari Maharani Setu Lakshmi Bayi [Bharani Tirunal], Senior Maharani of Travancore, CI (2.3.1881). b. at Utsavamadom Palace, Mavelikkara, 23^rd July 1848, educ. privately. Adopted into the Royal House of Travancore, 27^th December 1857. m. April 1859, M.R.Ry. Kerala Varma Avargal, Valia Koil Tampuran of Changanasseri, CSI (25.5.1895) (b. at Lakshmipuram Palace, Changanasseri, 1845; d. at Mavelikkara, from wounds received in a car crash, 22^nd September 1914), a renowned writer and poet known as Kerala Kalidas, author of "Akbar" (1894) and several poetical works including "Manipravalasakunthalam" (1882), "Mayura Sandesham" (1894), "Deivayogam" (1909), Chair. Text Book Cttee., etc., grand-nephew of M.R.Ry. Rajaraja Varma Avargal, Koil Tampuran of Changanasseri. She d. at the Sarasvathi Vilasom Palace, Trivandrum, 14^th June 1901, having adopted her two nieces on 31^st August 1900, having had issue, an only daughter who d. within hours of her birth.
        • (b) Bhagirathi Bayi Kocku Pangi. m. 1866, M.R.Ry. Ravi Varma Avargal, KIH Gold Medal (1.1.1904) (b. at Kilimanur, 29^th April 1848; d. at Attingal, 2^nd October 1906), the famed Indian painter and portraitist, eldest son of Uma Amba Bayi Tampuratti, by her husband, Ezhumavil Neelakantan Bhattathiripad, a Namboodiri Brahmin. She d. before 1893, having had issue, three sons and three daughters:
          • (i) Kerala Varma [Poorooruttathi Nal] Tampuran. b. at Utsavamadom Palace, Mavelikkara, 1876. He went missing in 1912, and never heard from again.
          • (ii) Rama Varma Raja [Revati Nal] Tampuran. b. at Utsavamadom Palace, Mavelikkara, September 1879, educ. Sir J.J. School of Arts, Bombay and Madras Sch. of Arts. Famed artist and portrait painter. Presdt. Mavelikkara Municipality 1928, MLC Travancore 1928. m. Srimathi Gowri Kunjamma, from the Edassery Pattaveetil family of Mavelikara, and sister of Rajyasevapravina P.G. Narayan Unnithan, the last Dewan of Travancore. He d. 1971, having had issue:

Mbr. Sri Mulam Club. m. Shrimathi Meenakshykutty Amma. He d. August 1983, having had issue, two sons and one daughter.

Sri Patmanabha Sevini, Vanchi Dharma Vardhini, Raja Rajeshwari, Maharani Setu Lakshmi Bayi [Pooratam Tirunal] Maharaja, Senior Maharani of Travancore, CI (3.6.1929). b. at Utsavamadom Palace, Mavelikkara, 19^th November 1895, educ. privately. Adopted into the Royal House of Travancore by her maternal grand-aunt, at the Sarasvathi Vilasom Palace, Trivandrum, 31^st August 1900. Installed as Senior Rani of Attingal, 27^th June 1901. Became Regent for her infant nephew and was granted the personal title of Maharani and the style of Her Highness 1^st September 1924. Installed at the Durbar Hall of the Puthenkacheri, 17^th September 1924. Relinquished the regency when her nephew came of age, 6^th November 1931. m. 6^th May 1906, M.R.Ry.           • (iv) Prince Rama Varma [Sathayam Tirunal]. b. at Trivandrum Fort, 3^rd December 1867, educ. privately. Invested as Heir Apparent with the title of Eliya Raja, 6^th December 1895. He d. at the Vadakay Kottaram Palace, Trivandrum Fort, 6^th June 1901.
          • (v) Prince Martanda Varma [Asvathi Tirunal]. b. at Trivandrum Fort, 24^th November 1871, educ. privately and at Madras Univ. (BA). He d. 10^th October 1900.
