I. INTRODUCTION Let’s “Go into the fields together” with God, and a few of the spiritual giants of yesteryear. One of the greatest needs we have today, is “prophetic type preaching:” This is Expository Preaching at its best, thus, we can, in this manner, have more of what The Bible has to say to us, and less of what man thinks that he should have to say to us! The Bible speaks for Itself: “And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the Lord shewed Him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan, And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephram, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea, And the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar. And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither. So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab over against Bethpeor…”
“And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man” (Genesis 2:18,22). “Now the Lord God had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice” (Genesis 12:1-3;22:18). “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed which is Christ” >(Galatians 3:16).
“The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God” (Deuteronomy 33:27a; Psalm 46:1; Isaiah 40:1).
(Deuteronomy 34:1-6a). “And if it seem evil unto to you serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15).
“And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho.
II. “THERE IS PEACE IN THE TIME OF TROUBLE, THERE IS PEACE IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM, THERE IS PEACE THOUGH THE WORLD BE RAGING, IN THE SHELTER OF HIS ARMS.”
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower” (Psalm 1:1-3; 18:2). “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever” (Psalm 23).
“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory; NO GOOD THING WILL HE WITHHOLD FROM THEM THAT WALK UPRIGHTLY. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 84:10,11;119:105). “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5,6).
III. “THERE IS PEACE IN THE TIME OF TROUBLE, THERE IS PEACE IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM, THERE IS PEACE THOUGH THE WORLD BE RAGING, IN THE SHELTER OF HIS ARMS.”
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be EXALTED ABOVE THE HILLS; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem” (Isaiah 1:18;2:2,3).
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is staid on thee: because he trusteth in thee. To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. “…But to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel” (Isaiah 26:3;8:20;66:2b;7:14).
“And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the son of man came with the clouds of heaven, AND CAME TO THE ANCIENT OF DAYS, AND THEY BROUGHT HIM NEAR BEFORE HIM. And there was given him dominion and glory, and a KINGDOM, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His KINGDOM that which shall not be DESTROYED” (Daniel 2:44;7:13,14).
IV. CHRISTIANS HAVE PRESENT, AND FUTURE SOUL SHELTER AND SECURITY “IN THE SHELTER OF HIS ARMS!!”
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteous; for they shall be filled. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 5:6,8,14,16;6:33).
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Not every one that sayeth unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? [demons, emphasis, mine, MLH]. And in thy name have done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:13,14,21-23).
“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And everyone that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand; And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad” (Matthew 7:24-27;12:30).
“And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, AND I PERISH WITH HUNGER! I will arise and go unto my father,>u> and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, BRING FORTH THE BEST ROBE, AND PUT IT ON HIM; AND PUT A RING ON HIS HAND, AND SHOES ON HIS FEET; And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: FOR THIS MY SON WAS DEAD, AND IS ALIVE AGAIN; HE WAS LOST, AND IS FOUND. AND THEY BEGAN TO BE MERRY” (Luke 15:17-19;21-24). “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:1-3).
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” (John 1:1-5,11,12,14,17). “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:1-4).
“Therefore let all he house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were ADDED unto them about THREE THOUSAND SOULS. Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved” (Acts 2:36-41,47).
“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection. But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, BUT YE HAVE OBEYED FROM THE HEART THAT FORM OF DOCTRINE WHICH WAS DELIVERED YOU. Being then made free from sin ye became the servants of righteousness” (Romans 6:1-5;17,18).
V. “THERE IS PEACE IN THE TIME OF TROUBLE, THERE IS PEACE IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM, THERE IS PEACE THOUGH THE WORLD BE RAGING: IN THE SHELTER OF HIS ARMS!!”
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin condemned sin the flesh. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with glory which shall be revealed in us. And we know that all things work together for good to them that live God, to them who are THE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE” (Romans 8:1-3;18,28).
“WHO SHALL SEPARATE FROM THE LOVE OF CHRIST? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS THROUGH HIM THAT LOVED US. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, SHALL BE ABLE TO SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD, WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD” (Romans 8:35-39).
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the NAME of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? AND HOW SHALL THEY PREACH EXCEPT THEY BE SENT? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have NOT ALL OBEYED THE GOSPEL. For Isaiah saith, Lord, WHO HATH BELIEVED OUR REPORT? So then faith cometh by hearing, and HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD” (Rom. 10:9,10,13-17).
VI. “THERE IS PEACE IN THE TIME OF TROUBLE, THERE IS PEACE IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM, THERE IS PEACE THOUGH THE WORLD BE RAGING: IN THE SHELTER OF HIS ARMS!!”
“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye ALL SPEAK THE SAME THING, and that there be NO DIVISIONS AMONG YOU; but that ye be PERFECTLY JOINED TOGETHER IN THE SAME MIND AND IN THE SAME JUDJMENT. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos, and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?” (1 Corinthians 1:10,12,13).
“But if our gospel be hid, IT IS HID TO THEM THAT ARE LOST: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the LIGHT OF THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF CHRIST, WHO IS THE IMAGE OF GOD, SHOULD SHINE UNTO THEM. As SORROWFUL, yet always REJOICING; as POOR, yet MAKING MANY RICH; as HAVING NOTHING, and yet POSSESSING ALL THINGS. Therefore if any man be in Christ, HE IS A NEW CREATURE: OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY; behold, ALL THINGS ARE BECOME NEW” (2 Corinthians 4:3,4;6:10;5:17).
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also YE ARE SAVED, IF YE KEEP IN MEMORY WHAT I PREACHED UNTO YOU, unless. YE HAVE BELIEVED IN VAIN For I delivered first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the scriptures; And that he was BURIED, and that HE ROSE AGAIN THE THIRD DAY according to the scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).
“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would PERVERT THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST. But though, we or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you, than that which we have preached unto, LET HIM BE ACCURSED. As we said before, so say I now again, IF ANY MAN PREACH ANY OTHER GOSPEL UNTO THAN THAT YE HAVE RECEIVED, LET HIM BE ACCURSED. For do I now persuade men or God? OR DO I SEEK TO PLEASE MEN, FOR IF I YET PLEASED MEN, I SHOULD NOT BE THE SERVANT OF CHRIST. But I CERTIFY YOU, BRETHREN, THAT THE GOSPEL WHICH WAS PREACHED OF ME NOT AFTER MAN. For I neither received it of man, NEITHER WAS I TAUGHT IT, but by THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST” (Galatians 1:6-12).
“I AM CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST: nevertheless; I LIVE yet not I, BUT CHRIST LIVETH IN ME: and the life which I now live in the flesh I LIVE BY THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD, WHO LOVED ME AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME. Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. But God forbid that I should glory, SAVE IN THE CROSS OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, BY WHOM THE WORLD IS CRUCIFIED UNTO ME, AND I UNTO THE WORLD” (Galatians 2:20;6:2,14).
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be ABLE TO STAND AGAINST THE WILES OF THE DEVIL. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, AGAINST SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be ABLE TO WITHSTAND IN THE EVIL DAY, AND HAVING DONE ALL, TO STAND. STAND THEREFORE, having your loins girt about with TRUTH, and having on the breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS: and your feet shod with with the PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE; Above all, taking THE SHIELD OF FAITH, WHEREWITH YE SHALL BE ABLE TO QUENCH ALL THE FIREY DARTS OF THE WICKED. And take the helmet of salvation, and the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the WORD OF GOD: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and WATCHING THEREUNTO WITH ALL PERSEVERANCE AND SUPPLICATION FOR ALL SAINTS” (Ephesians 6:10-18).
“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, rejoice. I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHENTH ME. But MY GOD SHALL SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEED ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY BY CHRIST JESUS. And HE IS THE HEAD OF THE BODY, THE CHURCH: who is the BEGINNING, THE FIRST BORN FROM THE DEAD; that in all things HE MIGHT HAVE THE PREEMINENCE. For in him dwelleth ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY. And ye are COMPLETE IN HIM, WHICH IS THE HEAD OF ALL PRINCIPALITY AND POWER” (Philippians 4:4,13,19; Col. 1:18;2:9,10).
“Pray without ceasing. And to you who are troubled with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, IN FLAMING FIRE taking VENGEANCE on them that KNOW NOT GOD, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our LORD JESUS CHRIST: who shall be PUNISHED with EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION from the presence of the Lord, and from the GLORY OF HIS POWER; When he shall come to BE GLORIFIED IN HIS SAINTS, and to be ADMIRED IN ALL THEM THAT BELIEVE (BECAUSE OUR TESTIMONY AMONG YOU WAS BELIEVED) IN THAT DAY. And with all DECEIVEABLENESS of UNRIGHTEOUSNESS in them that PERISH; because THEY RECEIVED NOT THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH, that THEY MIGHT BE SAVED. And for this CAUSE GOD SHALL SEND THEM STRONG DELUSION, that they SHOULD BELIEVE A LIE: That THEY ALL MIGHT BE DAMNED WHO BELIEVED NOT THE TRUTH, but had PLEASURE IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS” (1Thessalonians 5:17; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10; 2:10-12).
VII. “THERE IS PEACE IN THE TIME OF TROUBLE, THERE IS PEACE IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM, THERE IS PEACE THOUGH THE WORLD BE RAGING: IN THE SHELTER OF HIS ARMS!!”
“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for a CROWN of RIGHTEOUSNESS, which the Lord, the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, shall give me at that day: and not me only, but unto all them also that LOVE his APPEARING. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath APPEARED to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should LIVE SOBERLY, RIGHTROUSLY, AND GODLY, in this PRSENT WORLD. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and DOETH IT NOT, to HIM it is SIN. Casting all YOUR CARE UPON HIM; for HE CARETH FOR YOU. BE SOBER, BE VIGILANT; BECAUSE YOUR ADVERSARY the DEVIL, as a ROARING LION, walketh about, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR” (2Timothy 4:6-8; Titus 2:11,12; James 4:17; 1 Peter 5:7,8).
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST HIS SON CLAENSETH US FROM ALL SIN. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and THIS LIFE IS IN HIS SON. He that hath the Son hath life; and HE THAT HATH NOT THE SON OF GOD HATH NOT LIFE. Whosoever transgresseth, and ABIDETH NOT IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST, HATH NOT GOD. He that ABIDETH IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST, HE HATH BOTH THE FATHER AND THE SON. If there come any unto you, and bring not THIS DOCTRINE, RECEIVE HIM NOT INTO YOUR HOUSE, neither BID him GOD SPEED: For he that BIDDETH HIM GOD SPEED is PARTAKER of HIS EVIL DEEDS. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto, and exhort you that ye should EARNESTLY CONTEND FOR THE FAITH WHICH WAS ONCE DELIVERED UNTO THE SAINTS” (1 John 1:7; 5:11,12; 2 John 9-11; Jude 3).
“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto LIFE AND GODLINESS, THROUGH THE knowledge of him that hath CALLED US TO GLORY AND VIRTUE. And beside this, giving all diligence, ADD to your FAITH VIRTUE; and to VIRTUE KNOWLEDGE; And to KNOWLEDGE TEMPERANCE; and to TEMPERANCE PATIENCE; and to PATIENCE GODLINESS; And to GODLINESS BROTHERLY KINDNESS; and to BROTHERLY KINDNESS CHARITY. For if these things BE IN YOU AND ABOUND, they make you that ye shall neither be BARREN nor UNFRUITFUL in the KNOWLEDGE of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. But he that lacketh these things is blind and cannot see afar off, and HATH FORGOTTEN THAT HE WAS PURGED FROM HIS OLD SINS. Wherefore the rather, brethren, GIVE DILIGENCE to make YOUR CALLING and ELECTION SURE: for if ye DO THESE THINGS, ye SHALL NEVER FALL: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you ABUNDANTLY into the EVERLASTING KINGDOM of our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy SOUL PROSPERETH” (2 Peter 1:3,5-11; 3 John 2).
“And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? And whence came they? And I said unto him, sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of GREAT TRIBULATION, and have WASHED THEIR ROBES, and made them WHITE IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB. Therefore are they before THE THRONE OF GOD, AND SERVE HIM DAY AND NIGHT IN HIS TEMPLE: and he that sitteth on the THRONE shall dwell AMONG THEM. They shall HUNGER NO MORE, neither THIRST ANYMORE; neither shall the SUN LIGHT ON THEM, nor any HEAT. For the LAMB which is in the midst of THE THRONE SHALL FEED THEM, AND SHALL LEAD THEM unto LIVING FOUNTAINS of WATERS: and GOD SHALL WIPE AWAY ALL TEARS FROM THEIR EYES” (Revelation 7:13-17).
“And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that THEY MAY REST FROM THEIR LABORS; and THEIR WORKS DO FOLLOW THEM. Blessed are they that DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, that may have right to the TREE OF LIFE, AND MAY enter in THROUGH THE GATES INTO THE CITY. I Jesus have sent my angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I AM THE ROOT AND OFFSPRING OF DAVID, AND THE BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him THAT HEARETH, say, COME. And let HIM THAT IS ATHIRST COME. And WHOSOEVER WIL, LET HIM TAKE THE WATER OF LIFE FREELY” (Revelation 14:13:22:14,16,17).
“And ye shall SEEK ME, and FIND ME, when ye shall SEARCH FOR ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART. And I WILL BE FOUND OF YOU, SAITH, THE LORD. Now the parable is this: The SEED IS THE WORD OF GOD. Those by the wayside are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and TAKETH AWAY THE WORD OUT OF THEIR HEARTS, lest THEY SHOULD BELIEVE AND BE SAVED” (Jeremiah 29:13,14a; Luke 8:11,12).
