Season 3
Despite vowing that he and Dru would never return to Sunnydale Spike returns several months later, drunk and alone. Dru has dumped him and he wants Willow to perform a love spell to get her back. He blames the truce with Buffy and Dru's feelings for Angelus. However, after he, Buffy and Angel are forced to fight a large group of vampires he has a change of heart.
He realises that Dru will take him back if he goes back to his old violent ways. He leaves to win her back.
