CONSTRUCTION OFFCIAL LETTER
The Callaway letter, dated December 5, 2005 is the latest effort
whereby Callaway clearly appears to be once again overstepping his
authority.
It is time
for us to once again remind this strange politician, that he is a Ward
Councilman, selected under unusual circumstances to say the
least.
Further, he is a part-time legislator. The
Faulkner Act says so. Further, Callaway possesses no administrative authority
whatsoever.
His letter
could open up the City taxpayers to more expensive litigation, created by
Callaway's political tactics.
In
the Callaway letter, he directly "promises" to privatize the entire Construction Division, if they don't improve to his
satisfaction.
