Dear Mr. Kennedy,
I am writing to report very serious charges of
misconduct by certain public officials in and outside of Atlantic City,
NJ.
It should not only be limited to the above
listed individuals, that I am reporting several very serious acts of the
misuse of power and abuse of the offices of the Levy Administration and possibly
others in Atlantic City, NJ.
Robert Levy, who is presently the Mayor of Atlantic
City, received a letter, dated September 9, 2006 from Sergeant James
Simmons, a retired U.S. Army member. (Please see letter from Sgt.
Simmons).
It was within this letter from Sergeant Simmons, that
Levy was questioned about his (Levy's), claims of military service and
distinction, whereas Levy had claimed he was a member of the elite Special
Forces of The United States Army, (The Green
Berets).
It should be noted that Levy utilized these false claims of Green
Beret status in all of his endeavors of employment, promotion, and
assignments within Atlantic City government for more than four
decades.
Most recently Levy utilized these false military claims in a
television, radio and printed ad campaign to be elected Mayor of Atlantic City.
(Enclosed please find a DVD and copies of advertisements used by Levy advancing
these false claims).
Levy refused to answer Sergeant Simmons letter, and
instead conspired with friends in the media to injure Sergeant Simmons, me and
my brother, Harry Hurley, rather than come clean with the truth of Levy's
own fraudulent claims. (Please see Letter from Sgt.
Simmons).
I communicated with Levy on October 9, 2006 in a
letter that I mailed and hand-delivered to Levy myself, wherein I notified him
that I was aware of his retaliatory conduct towards me and my brother, Harry.
(Please see my letter to Levy, dated 10-9-06).
It was at this point that I proceeded to commence my
own investigation into the Levy scandal.
When The Press of Atlantic City was set to run a story
on October 17, 2006, which would have revealed Levy as a phony Green Beret, who
had fraudulently claimed Special Forces military status for more than 4 decades,
Levy, Baldwin and others conspired to misuse their government
positions to threaten The Press into NOT running the
story.
Kim Baldwin represented Bob Levy personally, while
using the resources of the citizens of Atlantic City to advance their own
personal and political agenda, by intentionally misrepresenting the true facts
of the Levy scandal in a threatening letter to The Press of Atlantic City, dated
October 16, 2006.
This letter from Levy and Baldwin was a
conspired effort to cover up for Levy and prevent a news outlet from
reporting the truth about Levy. (Enclosed please find a copy of the letter from
Baldwin to The Press).
I broke the Levy scandal for the first time on October
30, 2006, by informing the public on my brother's web site, HarryHurley.com,
that Bob Levy was never a Green Beret or Ranger in the Vietnam War or anywhere
else in the world.
Immediately after this time, Levy and other public
officials engaged in a smear campaign and cover up, designed to injure me,my
brother, Harry and others who were seeking the truth in the Levy
scandal.
Levy and other public officials utilized certain
friends of theirs in the media, to advance this campaign to injure me and my
brother, Harry. This campaign was complete with threats that "they were going to
"lower the boom on us, retaliate against and run us at least three states
away from New Jersey, for telling the truth about Levy, (which they all
maintained we were lying at the time).
On November 4, 2006, I made an Open Public Request for
Information from the city of Atlantic City, once it became obvious that Levy was
hiding behind a DD 214 certificate that I learned had to be on file with the
city of Atlantic City by their own policies.
It was during this period of waiting for the public
document that I received reliable information from my brother, Harry, that
Levy or someone working on behalf of Levy had removed his DD 214 Certificate
from the files of Atlantic City government.
I am still awaiting a letter, I was told is to refuse
my request for the public document, from Kimberly Baldwin, still acting in a way
to conceal the Levy scandal from the public.
On November 11, 2006, The Press of Atlantic City
finally ran the story, wherein they also exposed Levy as a phony Green Beret,
and a liar for more than 4 decades. (I would refer you to www.PressofAC.com for a full copy of
their stories).
It should also be known that Levy stated in The Press
of Atlantic City on November 11, 2006, that he "did not authorize" Kimberly
Baldwin to forward the threatening letter to The Press.
On November 12, 2006, I challenged the Levy Administration on this
fact in a story that I wrote in HarryHurley.com.
If Baldwin acted on her own and without Levy's authority, than
why has there not been any action taken against this rogue government
employee?
Baldwin stated on City Stationary that she was "acting on behalf of
Bob Levy and the entire Levy administration", in her threatening letter of
October 16, 2006 to The Press of Atlantic City designed to block The Press
from revealing Levy as a phony Green Beret.
On November 11, 2006 I was listening to a radio
program on WOND in the late afternoon with one of the hosts who
conspired with Levy, Baldwin and others in public positions to injure me, my
brother, Harry and others.
I know this to be true, because on November 2,
2006, this host from WOND radio said that they were working with Levy and
others to injure us. (Please refer to enclosed audio documentation of these
threats against me and my brother).
This WOND host was questioned by a caller on the live
radio show.
The caller was chastising this host for being wrong in everything
they had done to cover for Bob Levy, and asked the host if they had "seen
any proof" to have conducted themselves in the way that they did on behalf
of Bob Levy.
This WOND host went on to state that Nicolas Moricci, Spokesman and
aide to Mayor Bob Levy, forwarded the host military documents that had been
altered to represent that Levy had served in the Green Berets.
I learned on November 14, 2006, that The Press of Atlantic City is
in possession of these phony or forged military records generated on behalf
of Levy's false claims of Green Beret status, that were forwarded to the WOND
Radio Host.
We know that the documents were altered, because it has been
confirmed, and even Levy in his lame apology, has admitted that "he was never a
Green Beret".
I believe that it is a Federal Offense to alter or misrepresent
military records in writing. I have included an audio tape of this radio
broadcast of WOND.
I have also included copies of all of the stories I have
written, relating to the Levy scandal for your review.
These are terrible abuses of the public trust.
Levy and others, utilized their positions as public servants to
engage in a vicious cover up of Levy's own personal scandal. This was a sinister
effort to intentionally injure innocent individuals for these public official's
own personal gain and advancement.
My faith is with you; that you will also recognize the
disqualifying nature of public servants, engaging in a cover up
and conducting themselves in the manner in which they have in this
scandal.
I am also forwarding these charges to other County, State and
Federal Authorities for their review, as well.
Please advise me if I can be of any assistance with your
investigation of these serious charges.
