The Levy Cover Up

On November 4, 2006, I
made a written request for public information to the City Clerk of
My communication was a
request to obtain the Military Discharge Certificate Form DD 214, of Robert
William Levy, Sr., the Mayor of
Levy has been outted as
a Phony ,Wannabe Green Beret by three separate investigations into Levy's
false claims of military service in the Vietnam War.
I investigated the
policy for the city of
Therefore,
this makes Levy's DD 214 Form, public information.
I decided to telephone
the City Clerk, Rosemary Adams this morning and a polite gentleman answered the
phone.
I asked to speak with
the City Clerk, and the man said to please hold, and that she was in. The
man got back on the phone and asked me to identify myself, which I did.
Once I said who I was,
the man said "oh....please hold on". After a brief moment, the man
stated that Rosemary Adams was not in after all.
I asked to speak with
someone in charge and to get a status report on my request for information.
The Assistant Clerk got
on the phone and informed me that she had no knowledge of my request for
information.
I asked her if she could
look into this matter and to please call me at home with an update.
I also informed the
Assistant Clerk, that I received very reliable information that Bob Levy, or
someone working for Bob Levy had already removed his DD 214 Certificate from
the files, since after the time I had made public request for it.
I informed the Assistant
Clerk that I hoped that this was not true, as there has been a pattern of cover
up by this administration that I was hoping had not reached their office, too.
The Assistant Clerk
promised to get back to me shortly. It should be noted that this never
happened.
I went on with my day
and returned home at approximately 4:00 PM, and thought I would call the
Clerk's office once again, since their was a long weekend for city government
about to begin.
It is ironic that the
holiday about to be celebrated is Veteran's Day.
I called and tried to
speak with Clerk Rosemary Adams, and reached the Assistant Clerk again,
who informed me that
It should be noted that
Rosemary Adams has never made herself available this entire year, to me or any
other citizen that I know. She is always either not in, of she is in a meeting
which never ends.
The Assistant Clerk
placed me in contact with a lovely female worker who said that my question had
been answered in a letter mailed to me yesterday in
I informed the Assistant
Clerk that I had just received my mail and there was no letter from the city,
and more importantly, I had asked to pick up my information in person.
I asked if the female
could read me the letter over the telephone; which she did.
The letter indicated
that Bob Levy's DD 214 was not on file with the city. The letter also said that
even if the city had the DD 214 on file, they would not give it to me, as Bob
Levy had rights of privacy.
It is important to note
that the letter to me was signed by Kimberly Baldwin, the City Solicitor.
This is the same
Attorney who involved herself in a cover up for Levy with the letter of threat
she wrote on behalf of Bob Levy to The Press of
This story from The
Press would have revealed that Bob Levy was a Phony Green Beret,
carrying on a more than 42 year fantasy of Special Forces Service in
the Vietnam War.
I informed the worker that
I had reliable information that Levy's DD 214 had been removed from the
files of city hall after I had made my public request for this document.
It is also important to
note that Bob Levy and Kim Baldwin are hiding behind whatever information is
contained in this DD 214, and have no intention of releasing this form easily.
If this form had the
exculpatory evidence that Bob Levy claimed in his threat to The Press; than why
doesn't he just release it?
The truth is, this form
contains nothing more than the information that has already been released by
the National Personnel Records Center, which revealed that Levy is a fraud and
imposter, with no record of service as either a Ranger or Green Beret in the
United States Army.
The truth be told, Bob
Levy was in communications assignments, and a Recruiter for the

But this was not enough
for Levy, who apparently wanted to be more than just this.
Hence the creation of
the 42 year long fantasy that Levy created for himself as a "Wannabe
Green Beret".
This is a tall tale
complete with false exploits of legendary status, that was as real as
the story he made up last year that he was "kicked out of Atlantic City
High School for dating his African-American girlfriend", in order to try
and get himself elected Mayor of Atlantic City.
I suppose that this
story was just more impressive than the truth, that Levy was on the verge of
being kicked out of school on his own, rather than for the noble fantasy
that he created in pursuit of young love.
Levy finally admitted
this to Derek Harper and The Press of AC, after this lie was exposed by my
brother ,Harry Hurley, of Hurley in the Morning fame.
The same goes for the
This lie by Levy, has
now also been exposed.
But to date, this is a
lie that Levy is having a harder time letting go.
Bob Levy promised to
come out on his dependable local talk radio station this past Monday, 11-6-06,
to fully address his Green Beret Status.
Levy appeared on the
early show and refused to speak about it, and the host never asked the Green
Beret question.
The mid-morning show
host, at least, did ask the Green Beret question, when Levy went on to ramble
about his service that is not being called into question by anyone.
At this time, Levy for
the first time says that he was "attached to a Green Beret Transportation
This would seem a
far cry from actually being a Green Beret, and it will be interesting to see
one day if this is even true, either. But, perhaps this mission is where Levy's
fantasy actually began. Who knows?
It was after this, that
Levy canceled all other appearances and has gone into hiding. Levy was not
even seen on Election Day in
The fact remains simple,
though. Levy continues to dig himself in a deeper hole, as his attempts to
cover up his scandal grows.
The cover up is usually
worse than the original incident, so Levy is not disappointing corruption
theorists anywhere, who have seen him act for nearly a year now, as the
shill-Mayor for a Crime Boss, who is heading to Federal Prison next month.
I re-new my challenge to
Levy, to fire the entire cabinet that his Crime Boss coerced him into hiring.
I further urge Levy to
then fire himself, and step down as Mayor of
And, most importantly,
it's time to give back the honor and valor to our real members of the
United States Army Special Forces that you, Bob Levy, attempted to steal from
them...BUT YOU WERE CAUGHT in the act. I urge you to do this before
Veterans Day.
The entire city knows
what you did, Bob Levy. And soon the rest of the world will, too, due to the
terrible manner in which you have conducted yourself throughout this scandal.
Shame on you, Bob Levy.
