Bob Levy can never be permitted to ever serve in a position of public trust again.

The hallmark of Levy's campaign, and the main reason that Bob Levy gave the citizens of Atlantic City to vote for him as Mayor, was that he was a war hero who had won two Bronze Star Medals as a Green Beret in the Vietnam War.

This Green Beret Claim was in almost every ad and piece of campaign collateral for the Levy for Mayor Campaign.

Bob Levy was outted as a Phony Green Beret by The POW Network, Captain Don Bendell, Sergeant James Simmons, my brother Harry and me last month.

As disturbing as the lie that Bob Levy lived for more than 40 years, is his disgraceful conduct in the vicious cover-up he led to hide his deception from the public that he was sworn to serve.

It is interesting to note that this cover-up Levy led, was the only real leadership he has demonstrated since his hostile takeover of Atlantic City government on January 1, 2006.

By "leadership", I mean of course, Levy's desperate attempt to hold onto power at any cost. Levy has shown no real leadership or desire to serve the public in any significant way.

Levy's only true desire this entire year, has been to serve his master, the felon Craig Callaway.

Levy seems truly lost these days as he awaits his brother, Callaway, to be sent to federal prison for political corruption and stealing money by way of his position as a Councilman in Atlantic City.

Callaway has stolen money, and Levy has stolen Honor that did not belong to him. So they have this trait in common, too.

When Levy placed his left hand on the Quaran at the order of his Crime Boss, he was sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States and the State of New Jersey.

Is this what Levy was doing when he engaged in a vicious cover-up, designed to prevent the public he was sworn to serve, from learning his long and hard-kept secret, that he was not really ever a Green Beret in Vietnam or anywhere else in the world?

What public interest was served by Bob Levy, City Solicitor Kimberly Baldwin and City Spokesman, Nicolas Morrici, by coercing The Press of Atlantic City into not reporting the truth about Levy?

We have already learned that Moricci, on behalf of Bob Levy transmitted phony military records to their favorite Radio Station, to cover-up for Levy's phony Green Beret claim, and to threaten and slander innocent individuals like me, my brother Harry and Sergeant James Simmons.

We have also learned that Solicitor Kimberly Baldwin, on behalf of Levy and the entire Levy Administration, forwarded a threatening letter to The Press of Atlantic City, complete with demands that they cease printing the truth about Bob Levy being a Phony Green Beret in Vietnam, or risk being sued for monetary and other damages by Levy.

Baldwin sent this threat, after the earlier threats by Morrici to The Press on behalf of Levy, were unsuccessful.

The Press, local TV or any other member of the media, with the exception of Fox 29 Philly and Harry Hurley in the Morning, do not seem interested that they were all lied to by Bob Levy and his cabinet officials.

This is usually the cardinal sin....to lie to the media...and the media usually reacts with righteous indignation.

Not this media of South Jersey. Instead of demanding answers from these corrupt elected and appointed officials, The Press has been offering free advice for how and what Levy needs to do in order to survive this scandal.

And...TV-40 has attempted to run cover for Levy, by simply ignoring the entire Levy scandal altogether.

Here are what I consider to be the top six reasons that Levy needs to resign or be recalled from the Office of Mayor immediately:

1. Bob Levy is a documented liar who can not be trusted. From his first big lie in attempting to racially polarize Atlantic City by claiming that he was "kicked out of Atlantic City High School for dating his African-American girlfriend"... to now the revelation that Levy lied for more than 4 decades that he was a Green Beret in Vietnam...Levy is nothing more than a proven prevaricator of the highest order.

2. When Levy was caught in his insidious military lie, he used the arm of government to engage in one of the most, if not the most vicious and sinister cover-ups, ever seen in this area.

3. There has never been more Murder, Crime or Violence in the history of Atlantic City, than since Bob Levy has been acting as the Mayor of Atlantic City during the year 2006.

It should be known that Bob Levy and Craig Callaway are the ones who have transplanted the countless number of thugs and criminals to Atlantic City for their political industry of corruption.

4. Bob Levy can not even perform the most basic functions of government, including simple ribbon-cutting ceremonies, or even the pay-outs to the Police Officers and Firefighters for their well-deserved salary increases.

5. Levy utilized false claims, as a Green Beret, to advance himself at every step along his public career, up to and including becoming Mayor of Atlantic City.

6. Bob Levy is not really the Mayor of Atlantic City. In all actuality, Levy is the useful puppet and stooge for a criminal syndicate, which utilizes him for jobs and patronage at the expense of the tax-payers of Atlantic City.

In closing, Bob Levy has brought shame and disgrace to the Office of Mayor and to the people of Atlantic City.

And, since Levy seems to have no shame left in him, it may be left for the people of Atlantic City to extract Levy from Office in the form of an official recall from the Office of Mayor, if Levy can not find a shred of honor and do one last commendable act by resigning immediately.

Levy can either leave on his own, or be removed in a show of peaceful force by the voters of Atlantic City, the same voters that Levy snookered into voting for him with a series of lies and misconduct in the first place.

The good news is, one way or another, Bob Levy will soon be gone from Atlantic City government forever.
