Live By The Polls....Die By The Polls

There's an old saying that he who lives by the polls; dies by the polls.

It must be difficult to go through this world with no real core. Not knowing what you really believe. Merely blowing in the wind.

That is the very public existence that John Kerry exuded during a two year campaign for the Presidency, and  for much of his political life for that matter.

Isn't ironic that John Kerry's unsuccessful bid for President ended with a phony exit- poll,  fraudulently constructed by his liberal allies in the elite media? This poll was leaked to the public in an effort to deceive the American people into believing that Kerry would be a big winner.

A panic around much of the country commenced immediately after it was creatively leaked on the internets most visited web site. (What a bit of sinsiter brilliance, using the only real free exchange information center to accomplish this dirty trick). There's no telling what this stunt did to affect the vote. But it is undeniable what the true motive was.

In spite of the fact that all of the internals in the poll simply argued against logic, Kerry said he believed it.  More significantly, he wanted the American people to be fooled into believing it before they voted.

Just a few days before this phony exit poll scam, Usama Bin Laden re-emerged on the Friday before our election day to threaten our country again. What was Kerry's first call to action? You guessed it....he took a poll to decide what he should think, and what the people wanted to hear about all of this.

Real leadership is about making difficult decisions, (sometimes against the polls and conventional wisdom of the moment). That's why there has never been a great poll-driven leader in our history, (enter Bill Clinton here).

Another poll that was a complete falsehood, involved the Michael Moore and P-Diddy Jack-Ass Generation Vote or Die Campaign. These radicals promised that the youth would come out and vote like never before.

The truth of the matter is; the youth has never come out in any block to vote before. Does anyone believe that a generation that we can't even get to put out the trash cans on Tuesday night, would wait in long lines for hours to vote? In the end, this Vote or Die crowd voted in lower numbers than four years ago.

Our liberal friends still remain confused as to what happened last night. A movement that put is's faith in Farenheit 9/11 and Rock The Vote, is still in shock that true people of faith are the ones who were energized to decide this important election.

When it comes down to it, all big issues in history have been decided by people of faith. Until our liberal friends get a handle on this simple fact, they will continue to see big loses, like they experienced last night.

They truly believe that following this huge victory by George W. Bush, that he needs to move to them. To do otherwise, is to be devisive to them.

Why was Bill Clinton's "mandate" never challenged by the liberal elite media? It was never stated that Clinton divided the country by winning only 43 % of the vote, in a race that many think was stolen from the 1st President Bush by Bill Clinton and Ross Perot.

Now, last night Kerry refused to conceed an obvious defeat at the hands of W. Bush. Is it possible that, for one more time, Kerry took a poll to see if the American People would tolerate a legal challenge by him?

In any event, Kerry did the right thing by ending this race. However, hearing him lecture the winner was a bit too much to take. But, It is pleasing to see this election finally over.

Kerry is way out of line by saying the country is divided more now than ever. President Bush won the largest victory in American history, receiving more votes than any other candidate for President in American History. He is the first President to win a majority of the vote over 50% since 1988, (when his father received 51% of the vote against another Massachussettes liberal, Michael Dukakis).

While polls seemed to serve the vacillating Kerry well throughout his career, when the entire country got a good look at his act, he was rejected. (Maybe it was the Wild Goose Chase in Ohio, or the Boston Red Sox Hat that finally did him in).

Polls told Kerry what to think about the Iraq war, (that he voted for), and more polls told Kerry what to think in his Democrat Primary against Howard Dean. Another Poll told him to vote against the funding for the war that he had already voted for.

So, as a result, a real leader was elected to serve another four years as President, in lieu of the Poll-Taker, who wavered in the breezes.

And now in the end, a sleazy exit-poll intended to prop up his campaign on election day, winds up being Kerry's swan song. Again, they say you live by the polls....you die by the polls.

It looks as though John Kerry's political career died last night. But, we probably won't know for sure until his next poll tells us so.
