Having Faith With No Deeds?

Having listened to John Kerry quote the sciptures in a few of the debates and now on the campaign trail, I have a few questions.
Kerry has been most fond to quote from the Bible his supposed favorite scripture, "Having Faith with no deeds, is Dead".
It is getting even more difficult at the end of this desperate campaign of Kerry's to keep up with his multiple positions on just about everything. This includes his newly found faith. I did a lengthy nexus search and could find no real mentions of faith or God in any of Kerry's previous public history. That is, not until very recently, when Kerry determined he was losing the faith race to a sincere and true-believer, President George W. Bush.
So what to do now? Kerry inserts faith and God into his campaign. Before the 2nd Presidential Debate, Kerry and his campaign referred to the President as a religious zealot who is out of touch with the heart and soul of America. This is the same Kerry who spoke before a profanity-laced crowd of movie actors and rock stars and said the true heart and soul of America is in Hollywood!
Now, in the end of a campaign we have Kerry trying to out-faith the truly faithful, President Bush. This all seems about as real as Kerry's wild goose chase in Ohio last week, where he donned his favorite Elmer Fudd hunting costume to prove his "real-man" status to the people of Ohio and the rest of the country. Kerry has since dropped 4 points in the polls in Ohio, by virtue of his big-game hunt.
Having Faith with no deeds? I suppose this could mean many things to people. It could be related to a candidate like Kerry, who says he believes that all life begins at conception. At the same time he supports abortions and voted to protect the even more barbaric partial-birth abortion procedure. Are these the deeds that comport with Kerry's now professed faithfulness?
I have heard Kerry say that as Americans, we all need to do more for the poor and less fortunate. On face value, I agree with this sentiment. However, I invite an examination of Kerry's W-2 Tax Statement, (one of very few documents he has released) If you look at charitble and other contributions relating to John Kerry, you will see for the last two years Kerry gave ZERO! That's NOTHING to charities or other contributions. Even Algore gave somewhere in the area of 700 dollars the year he was running for President, and Bill Clinton donated his used underwear to the Salvation Army, (check their Tax Statements!). What is it with these limosine liberals, who always demand more from others than they do from themselves?
This is all quite in contrast to President George W. Bush. A check of his Tax Returns reveals that each year he made more money, he consequently donated significantly more money to charities and other contributions. By the way, the President made a full disclosure, which allowed Kerry to erroneously report to the world and George W that Bush was the owner of a Lumber Company, which was a shock to everyone including the President. What could we all have learned if Kerry had been rightfully demanded to make a full disclosure of himself?
I have tried hard to understand this concept of having faith with no deeds, because it has been one of the more troubling things Kerry has utterred in this bizarre campaign. I watched a debate where Kerry said that he is a devout catholic, but would not apply what he personally believes, to his public life. Yet at the same time, Kerry says he would bring his faith with him to the White House to guide him in everything that he does. He said this in the same sentence, I believe without any punctuation or stop. How do these conflicting views co-exist in the same world, yet alone the same sentence?
Kerry actually admitted before 30-40 million people that he would NEVER be willing to fight for things that he believes in, if it meant thrusting his personal beliefs on others. Isn't that what we elect people to do....to fight on behalf of us for things that they truly believe? Is this all part of the same logic of having faith with no deeds?
I am not always sure about many things. But one thing I am certain in this campaign season; John Kerry is a man with No Faith and No Deeds.
Whether that is dead or not, I do not know. But, I think it disqualifies him for consideration to serve in the greatest and most important office in the world.
