HarryHurley.com has confirmed that Craig Callaway staged a "secret" meeting of Atlantic City's 3rd Ward Democrat Committee ... his plan to immediately attempt to gain the Nomination that Judge Max Baker took from him this past week.

Atlantic County Democrat Chairman Chuck Chiarello believes that Callaway's meeting was illegal and is challenging its propriety. A Judge is allegedly going to rule later tonight as to whether or not Callaway can earn the nomination in this manner.

Also pending is attorney Joe Gindhart's formal appeal of Baker's decision in Dixon vs. Callaway.

We are outraged that Judge Baker did not remove Callaway from consideration for the 3rd Ward nomination. It seems beyond absurd that Baker can rule on one hand that it was the Callaway campaign which orchestrated a fraudulent election ... (and) disenfranchised many legitimate Atlantic City 3rd Ward voters ... and, then Callaway can political scheme to garner the 3rd Ward appointment from a small Committee, which he operates great influence of ... proven by the fact that Callaway was able to convene the Committee to hold a "secret" meeting and then win 6 of 8 votes.
