FLASH BACK ATLANTIC CITY - We have been researching a project for the past several weeks. It's time to let you in on some of the results. # # # All Callaway had to do was turn on Langford. Ever since this date ... no matter what Callaway says or does, The Atlantic City Press has defended it ... below, is another example of this ... remember when allegations arose about Callaway's residency. The Atlantic City Press leaped to Callaway's defense ... saying that his residency should not be an issue ... see below: # # # Now, please be honest ... if Callaway was about to become the 3rd Ward Councilman during the Whelan years ... do you think this Atlantic City Press Editorial would have ever been written? # # # We haven't heard a word about the status of Jihad Callaway ever since? Where does this indictment stand? Where does the investigation into voter fraud stand? We don't know, because they just won't say. Published on October 29, 2002, Press of Atlantic City # # # Craig Callaway has now led a public effort to nominate and vote for a Republican to become the Vice President of City Council.

We did an extensive archival search of all Atlantic City Press articles which contained the name Craig Callaway in them. We have read each article of the past 5 years.
It is actually an amazing process to see how the Atlantic City Press use to write about Callaway ... versus how they write about him now. It is so revealing.
In the end, it's all really quite simple. There is no doubt that all Callaway had to do, was make a political deal with Bill Gormley and become a Mayor Lorenzo Langford adversary.
Since then, Callaway receives nothing except positive Atlantic City Press and WOND Radio coverage.
For the first time, we are able to reveal the exact point in time whereby the reinvention of Craig Callaway began
We begin with a brief snippet of March 2, 2002, Atlantic City Press article.
This article is very revealing. It actually was a preview to an extensive Callaway piece which would run several days later.
After meticulous study, we have been able to pinpoint the exact date that the Atlantic City Press went from ardent, brutal critics ... to Callaway Fan Club Charter Members ... they even ran a promo of an upcoming Callaway fluff piece.
Atlantic City Press Changes Its Coverage of
Craig Callaway
Published on March 2, 2002, Press of Atlantic City
After more than a decade of pressuring, protesting and sometimes harassing Atlantic City's elected officials, David and Craig Callaway thought that Mayor Lorenzo Langford was going to be different. He was their man, their ticket to legitimacy. But weeks after the election, their relationship with Langford unraveled. Now they are back where they started -

Our position: The application of the residency law in this case would have been absurd.
To be crystal clear right from the start, this isn't about Craig Callaway. It isn't about personalities, Callaway's sometimes questionable political tactics, or who ultimately wins the 3rd Ward City Council seat in Atlantic City.
No, this is about a seemingly sensible residency law designed to prevent carpetbaggers from sweeping into town and running for office.
Here's another example ... Callaway's Brother, (we can only assume) appropriately named "Jihad Callaway" was indicted for voter fraud. How come we never hear a single word about this?
Here is the only mention in the local media (with the exception of us) about this as follows:
Published on July 2, 2002, Press of Atlantic City
- Ronald Callaway, also known as Jihad Abdullah, allegedly voted multiple times in four different elections.
Ronald Callaway has been indicted on charges he voted nine times in four elections, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jeffrey S. Blitz said Monday.
Also known as Jihad Abdullah, Callaway voted under both names ...
Remember back in October, 2002 when the Atlantic County Democrat Committee voted to censure Mayor Langford, Councilman Marsh and other Atlantic City Democrats for not supporting Craig Callaway?
Here is a brief look at past of the Atlantic City Press coverage from October 29, 2002 as follows:
Mayor Lorenzo Langford and other prominent elected Democrats do not support Atlantic City Council candidate Craig Callaway.
Atlantic County Democrats voted to censure Mayor Lorenzo Langford and other prominent elected officials Sunday night for failing to toe the party line.
Rather than back Craig Callaway, the Democratic nominee for Atlantic City's 3rd Ward City Council seat, Langford and others are supporting Barbara Woodall, an independent.
There are absolutely no plans in the works by the Atlantic County Democrat Party to censure Callaway. Nor was Callaway or Jim McGettigan ever censured for not supporting Mayor Langford or Stephenine Dixon.
We read hundreds of Atlantic City Press articles during the preparation of this Investigative Report ... not only a painstaking task ... but, a very painful task.
The intellectual dishonesty exhibited is breath taking. The sudden reversal of editorial policy and daily reporting as it relates to Craig Callaway is one of the most glaring examples ever ... as to the outrageous bias, which presently exists.
