The Plan?

No matter who you are voting for on Tuesday, won't you be happy when this election is over?

In a season so filled with polls, more polls than the world has ever seen, if one were done on this simple sentiment it would perhaps be the most overwhelmingly decisive poll of them all.

(OK, I'll admit there are probably many Lawyers and Campaign Consultants and other political operatives who are sad to see this sick campaign coming to an end. The same one's who are now hoping for re-counts and more disputes ).

Through the years, I have written a few columns for my brother's web site. In this campaign, I had intended to only write one column, which somehow has drifted into a series of stories. I promise this is the last one, (at least until election day anyway).

But, getting to "The Plan"; Does this phrase have a familiar ring to it? It should, because John Kerry has utterred this one phrase more than anything else he has said during his two year Manchurian Campaign for the presidency.

Whether you are a supporter of Kerry, or not, can anyone honestly say they know what this plan is that he speaks of?

The answer, is simply NO. Kerry has claimed to have a plan to resolve all of the worlds problems, but has never once articulated this plan to the American people. This should be alarming.

Very little surprises me anymore. But, what has shocked me is that I find it almost impossible to believe that we are only a few short days before the election, and John Kerry has never had to answer one difficult question. He has not even been asked by our liberal friends in the elite media, what is this so-called plan and what would it mean for this great country of ours? He has never had a Press Conference, and has never even taken a real question on his campaign plane, filled with reporters.

Think about this; in three presidential debates, three liberal moderators each knew not to ask Kerry one single question with respect to his 20-year career in the United States Senate, or his history in the U.S. Military. Is this even plausible in a real world? They are all well aware that Kerry's real record can not sustain even a cursory review, so therefore they have intentionally hidden it from us.

George W. Bush, who has a record of accomplishment to point to as Commander In Chief, has had his entire mitary record scoured over by the elite media. This is the same media that has shown no interest in the miltary history of their favorite son, John Kerry.

This is especially interesting to note, since it is Kerry who has represented his 3 1/2 months in Vietnam as the sole most important reason he should be elected President. Kerry made his military record the lynch-pin of his campaign, and yet our old, elite media felt no need to examine this record.

Now, it should be pointed out that Kerry has refused to sign the release that President Bush openly signed to reveal all of his records to the public. This is outrageous, in the sense that President Bush has received more grief for making full and public disclosure of his records, than Kerry has for hiding his records from the American people.

In the old days, the old media would have reacted negatively against a stealth, secret campaign, such as Kerry has waged. But, these are not the old days, and I believe that the old media knows full well that its days are numbered. Therefore the election of Kerry is more significant to them than it is for them to reflect one shread of journalistic integrity.

This is not a battle for the safety and security of America to them. This is our liberal elites making one last great stand to win the cultural war, that has drifted away from them. This has truly left a national democrat party that Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman and John Kennedy would not even recognize today.

History is a funny thing. When it is unfolding right before your eyes, it has a way of sometimes looking different, then when all the happenings and events are received in full context. This normally requires a little time to digest.

Every election for the past 24 years, (at least), has always left the public wondering what the "October Surprise" would be this time.

In 1980 many people thought Jimmy Carter would try to change events in the middle east, or rescue our hostages, who were being held for so long in Iran to attempt to win a second term that was not to be.

In 1984 the October Surprise was to try and attack President Reagan's mental capacity, (a trick which blew up in the face of Walter Mondale, remember Mondale's youth and inexperience compared to that of "The Gipper"?). They are now trying this old play in a desperate effort to defeat Senator Jim Bunning, the great Phillies hall of fame pitcher. It will fail there too. Do you remember when seniority and longevity was revered?

In 1988 the October Surpise was most likely the attack upon Dan Quayle's Military Reserve records, since they couldn't attack the merits of another WW II hero, George HW Bush, (sound familiar?).

In 1992 Clinton's allies indicted Caspar Weinberger to cast a shadow over President George HW Bush's administration just a few short days before the election. Bill Clinton admits today that he could not have won without the dirty trick that the United States Justice Department employed on his behalf.

In 1996, I believe the October Surprise was the conserted liberal elite media effort to ignore Bob Dole, a real war hero of the 2nd World War. Isn't it amazing how little regard the elites had for real war heroes back then?

For all practical purposes, Bob Dole left his right arm in the South Pacific while fighting to save the world. But, this was not heroic enough for our elites and thus Bob Dole was given NO CHANCE to win against their boy Clinton.

In the end, Clinton won the closest "landslide" in history against Dole by an average of a mere 3 points. How many front-runner types might have voted for President Dole, if he had ever been given a real chance to win in the first place?

Now, I would think most people are aware of the surpise in the year 2000, between George W. Bush and Algore. The DWI, which unfortunately Bush had not revealed earlier in the campaign was unloaded upon him with the full thrust and fury never before seen in American politics by the liberal elites.

This transformed a very comfortable and a most likely 5 point win for Bush, into a nail-biter that allowed Algore the opportunity to withdraw his original concession to George W. This put the country through  six weeks of hell in Algore's attempt to steal the election from President Bush, (there I said it!).

Here we arrive in the year 2004. The October Surprise, which historically has come from one campaign or another, has now come from the liberal elites in the media themselves! This is an extraordinary fact, and one which I know will be hard to find unless you look past the elites to the new media, (Thank GOD for technological advances).

The New York Times in concert with CBS 60 Minutes, the United Nations, The I.A.E.C., all coordinating with the campaign of John Kerry have unleashed a phony front page story claiming President Bush allowed 300 tons of deadly explosives to simply slip through our fingers.

Once again, John Kerry rips a headline from his favorite newspaper, and declares that President Bush has not kept his faith with the constitution and the American people.

The only problem with all of this is, the entire situation is as fraudulent as the bogus forged documents that CBS and Dan Rather attempted to use to turn this election against President Bush several weeks ago.

There is no evidence that any munitions were removed during our watch in Iraq. But this will not stop a selfishly, desperate candidate like Kerry from attempting deceive the American people.

Does Kerry still not realize that he is not criticizing President Bush when he does these irresponsible things? He is in actuality attacking the comptetence of our brave troops and their commanders in the field of battle. Is it any wonder that at least 4 of 5 bravely serving now and who have bravely served in the uniforms of our country in the past, support President Bush for re-election?

This is a very sad state of affairs, when a major party can nominate an unworthy candidate, such as Kerry, to seek the highest and most important office in the world.

In the end of a campaign, being waged in one of the most, if not the most serious periods in our nations history, this is all Kerry has to talk about? Phony, manipulated headlines from a liberal newspaper and world organizations wishing to make America weaker? This is all Kerry has to say?

I am among those that can not wait for this election to be over. I would rather be talking about a serious terrorist video tape, that has once again, threatened to rain death and destruction upon the greatest Democratic Republic ever created.

ABC news would rather you not know, let alone, think or speak about the real threats in this new world that we all live in now. This is all in their real desire "not to affect the outcome of the election"?

Great men and women in history do big things. They do them because they are hard, not because they are easy to do. This is a big thing that George W. Bush has done. He would no longer sit back and allow America to be attacked, without striking back with the full strength of the greatest fighting force that the world has ever known.

I have always believed that this is why the whacko fringe of the liberals claims to hate George Bush so much. For many of these partisan liberals, there hope was for Bush to stumble through history. Instead, to their dismay, Bush has become a truly historical figure.

Whether the liberal elites in the media would like to admit it or not, we are now fighting in  what will very well be described as World War III. This is a true fight for the very existence of the free world

In the days of WWII, does anybody know when it officially became WWII? When will history record that President Bush recognized the real dangers in the world and took the actions neccessary to preserve our nation? The outcome of Tuesday's vote will most likely tell the story.

As for "The Plan", anyone willing to be sincere knows there never was a plan by Kerry, other than to glom headlines from a liberal elite media, on it's last leg, doing everything it can to try and defeat George W. Bush. This is something that Kerry has never had a chance of doing by himself. That was "The Plan", all along.
