CITIZENS PETITION
WAS EXPECTED ... BUT, IT IS STILL DISGRACEFUL!
Imagine a City
Clerk (Roesemary Adams) who refused to return every citizen call for help ...
And, her first and only contact with the committee was to tell them that she is
rejecting their petition to repeal the salary ordinances in Atlantic
City.
The citizens must
immediately get their cause before an honest judge in Atlantic County
...
The intent of the
citizen voters could not be any clearer ...
Hopefully an
honest judge will order the City Clerk to place this citizen effort before
City Council and if they refuse to repeal their salary increase ordinances for
themselves and chosen friends ... Then this question must be placed before the
voters in a Special Election.
Anything short of
this, would only serve to totally frustrate the will of the people ... something
honest Judges do not allow to occur ... They base enforcement and interpretation
of our laws based on the "intent of the voter."
The intent could
not be any clearer. 2,000 Atlantic City voters should NOT be cheated in this
manner by self-serving politicians.
